She is Managing Partner of network organisation The Other Perspective and Co-Founder of The Board Whisperers and has a mission to encourage leaders in organisations to embrace new perspectives and ideas, to increase their impact in a sustainable way.
Before she started as an entrepreneur in 2017, Sonja worked for about 20 years in the business world, among others as a management consultant and as a senior leader within various multinationals (e.g. Shell, Capgemini, ABN Amro, KPN).
Sonja holds degrees in Communication Science and Executive & Team Coaching and is currently affiliated as an external PhD candidate to the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She is accredited as a coach by Ashridge (London, UK) and EMCC. She is also a mother of two sons and active as a writer, speaker (including TEDx) and amateur photographer.
