TBW nominated for Joke Smit prize
The Board Whisperers have been nominated for the Joke Smit endorsement prize from the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
Joke Smit was born in Utrecht on August 27, 1933. She studied French language and literature at the University of Amsterdam and became a linguist, journalist and politician.
Her biography states that “an entire generation of women felt inspired by her to organise their lives differently than was expected of them.”
